Wonderful, really quick once you have all of the veggies diced. Great for the winter in Boston. Thank you Rachel!

This recipe is without a doubt going in my repeat folder! First, it was so easy. I only had to use one pot, which makes clean up easier, but it also makes the cooking time easier to manage. If you are a novice cook, I would highly recommend chopping a lot of the ingredients before you start the actual cooking. I made it for my husband and myself last night, but I went ahead and made the full recipe. I ate some of the leftovers for lunch today, and they were still fantastic! My husband is semi-picky. He usually doesn't like peas, but he ate every bite of this meal. Next time, I might actually cut down on the meat a little bit. I'm not a huge meat eater, so it was a bit too much chicken for me. I might add more veggies and only a pound of chicken tenders. Also, I will make sure I cut the chicken into slightly smaller pieces. Shredded chicken would also be great in this meal. The flavor of this meal was so comforting and delicious. I will without a doubt make it again.

I recorded Rachael's 30 minute meals show and would watch it when I nursed my babies in the middle of the night. I've loved this recipe for 6 or 7 years.
Sometimes I replace the dumplings with noodles. And most of the time I use canned chicken. My kids and husband love this recipe

Very good. I added 2 moore potatoes and mushrooms as well. I purchased ready made bisquits cut them in quarter pieces and used them instead. Yum!

Delicious!! My family loved this recipe. I made the following adjustments: substituted one sweet potato for the russet potato; doubled the recipe; added sliced mushrooms with the veggies; for the dumplings I used Aunt Jemima whole wheat blend pancake and waffle mix (combined with about 2/3 c warm milk and some chopped fresh chives. I did add another small splash of milk when the dough seemed too thick. It came out wonderfully. None of the kids even commented on the wheat dumplings, they all loved them.

awesome!! im a newbee at cooking and im glad to say i made chicken and dumplings and they came out great! My family loved it and wants me to make it again soon! I did listen to other reviews and sub. the jiffy mix for bisquick and the flavor was much better using bisquick and the mix was a lot easier to work with (since i am new to cooking, the bisquick was very easy I also used frozen peas and carrots instead of fresh carrots which cut time in me having to dice carrots. I also listen to somone else who used rottisery chicken, and was alot easier and more flavorful!

When I found this recipe, I thought it would be perfect because I wanted a "stoup" and my son wanted pot pie. I had never made chicken and dumplings with vegetables in it, so I was a little worried about it, but I made it and it was amazing! I couldn't find decent looking parsley at the store, so I didn't use it and I added frozen corn to it as well and it turned out perfect. Next time I will have to make a double batch so there will be leftovers!
