    This is the best stoup for cold weather. I make this soup for the whole family. I double the recipe and it still is not enough. It gets better the next day. Everyone that taste it wants the recipe.

    Made this for a bunch of teenagers and served it with fried tortilla strips and grated cheese. They loved it. I have made it twice already.

    I thought this would be neat - tortilla soup meets minestrone. It was not.Tortillas and potatoes do not belong in the same soup.

    The soup came out fantastic! I replaced the kidney beans with pinto beans, and I used a crock-pot. My family raved about it!
