The only change we made was to use a mexican blend cheese. Great recipe!

This has become a favorite meal for me and everyone I've prepared it for! It's easy and soooo tastey! I'd eat it every day if I could!

My husband and I LOVE this soup!! Instead of the chorizo I use regular kielbasa and I used salsa in place of the tomatoes (I like the taste of salsa better..plain tomatoes are too bland. I've made this "stoup" many times and we never have any left! My husband has even taken it to work and has had the other workers begging him for the recipe! Thanks Rachel for another great recipe!

I used everything here that the recipe calls for except that I used leftover turkey from a big holiday dinner instead of the chicken. Rachael-this is the best stoup ever! My husband (who is Mexican and loves a good hearty soup with a little kick ate almost all of it! What a winner!!! Will be making this one again and again. Thanks.

This is a great soup for fall/winter. I suggest chopping the chicken and chorizo into very small pieces so they are easier to eat with a spoon. Chorizo is quite fatty, so if you are watching your cals you could try turkey sausage. Or you could just use half the chorizo than the recipe calls for. Don't forget the shredded cheese on top!

This soup/stew was wonderful and I am not even much of a soup person. Everyone in the family loved it even my nine-year-old. This recipe was very easy to follow and I would make it again.

I won't make this again. Although I love the flavor of the chorizo, you end up with so much grease it is hard to tell the difference between the soup and the grease. I felt like I was doing a disservice to my family's health.

I really really love this recipe it had just the right amount of everything. I used just regular tortilla chips but it was still great.

    Rachel Ray is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

This is the easiest, most versatile soup ever. I have made it with potatoes and rice. I have made it with sausage instead of chorizo. It's really easy, cheap, and FAST. It even tastes better the next day.
