This recipe was so good on a cold winter day. I used black beans instead and just sprinkled the chips on the top instead of using the broiler to melt the cheese. Next time, I will use less chicken and potatoes, and possibly add some frozen corn. Very yummy!

I am going to send this recipe to my friends now that its getting cold here in TX. This is so good and so filling. I love the spice (keeps me warm and I also added a little twang...some squeezed fresh lime before serving. Some well added bonus, my boyfriend who's not fond of soupy soups liked this a lot! Will definitely make this again.

I wish I could personally thank Rachael herself for this recipe. This is the tastiest, most delicious soup I've ever had. So flavorful. I've made it dozens of times. I will usually make a double batch and eat it for several days. I cannot get sick of this soup. It's definitely a favorite and mine and my family!

I love soups, or stoups, and this is an easy, very tasty one. I have used left over baked chicken in place of the chicken tenders and italian saugage or linguica and it is just as good. Good way to use up left over veggies too. The more the merrier!! With a little home made corn bread it is a cold weather tummy warmer.

Pretty good, but I think it would be better with beef than chicken (or maybe a combo. My husband didn't care for the cheese on it, but I liked the addition of the flavor. I would make it again. I used the uncooked chorizo, and sauteed it before adding to the stock pot to get some of the grease out since chorizo is really greasy.

One of my signature dishes now. I add in more chorizo and more broth. If you have time, make your own broth and shred the chicken - It will make this dish even better.

I just had to write a review for this recipe!! I absolutely LOVE it!! I use smoked turkey sausage instead of the chorizo just to lighten it up a little bit, but other than that I follow the recipe to the letter and it comes out awesome!! I love RR and this recipe is the BEST!! I agree, its even better the next day!! GO Rachael!
