The sauce was watery, the chicken had no flavor, and it was definitely a waste of expensive cheese. Nothing was good about this recipe.

Made the Chicken Divan. The dish itself was very tasty, but like other reviewers, I found the sauce to be much too watery after returning the chicken broth to the pan. It turned out to be more of a Chicken Divan Soup, although still yummy. Next time, I plan to add only as much broth as necessary to make a nice thick sauce.

I made the Tetrazinni part of this make ahead recipe but used all the sauce recipe with half the chicken. The final sauce was a little thin but it was absorbed by the noodles by the time it was ready to serve for dinner. I will try the two-fer recipe and see how that works.

I just made the Chicken Divan and it was very tasty! The sauce was watery but I think it was because I did not reduce the amount of chicken stock which I should have since I did not make the Tetrazinni. But overall, very good, definitly will make it again!

MMMMM. We only made the tetrazzini and it was so delicious. The almonds put it over the top. The sauce was creamy, rich and delicious. So easy to make, we will definitely make this again.

While the recipe looked interesting enough for me to give it a go, the finished product was not pleasant..watery sauce, bland chicken and an unfortunate use of good gruyere (and certainly was not a 30-minute outing. My husband admitted he purposely neglected to put the leftovers in the refrigerator that night so I had to throw them out the next morning, thus avoiding a second confrontation with this recipe. Rachael has some great recipes, but this is not one of them.

I made the Chicken Tetrazzini last night for the family & it was WONDERFUL. It did seem to get a little dry, so I added a little more chicken stock & it turned out fine. This is now a staple in my recipes. Thanks Rachael!!

Not only was this easy, it is delicious! I did the divan recipe but used havarti cheese since I didn't have gruyere. I highly recommend this!

I made the divan last night. I served it all on steamed rice. The flavors were wonderful and very comforting, but the sauce (scrumptious would not thicken up for me. It was alright, but just a little more soupy than I would have liked. I doubled this and took the other portion to another family who later called and said they devoured it. Worth the time and effort, but you might need to make more roux to broth mixture...or something??
