I was so excited about this recipe. I couldn't wait for the rain and share my experience... Easy for the non-cooks, It lives up to the reviews. The flavor is full. I realized the online recipe didn't add the 1 tsp of cumin. On the show (where I got the recipe Rachael Ray added cumin to her dish. I did too, and I LOVED IT.
I coupled it with a margarita...PERFECT, restaurant style. Enjoy!

Racheal,
You were right! This a great soup. I added a little of my own style to your recipe and it turned out great. Bump the heartbreak. This soup is serving the purpose on a cold winters night. Can't wait until I have some for lunch tomorrow at work. Thanks again!

I made this last night and it was super easy and quick. The whole family loved it, I put all the garnishes in little bowls and let everyone fix their soup the way they liked and the kids had such fun with it. The only things I did different was I cut up the chicken tenders into bite sized pieces, I couldn't find fire roasted tomatoes so I added a half teaspoon of liquid smoke and that gave it a nice smokey flavor, and I served the tortilla chips on the side because I like them to be nice and crunchy. This was a great soup, I will definitely make this again and again.

I always try Rachel Ray recipes and this is by far my favorite! My husband and I eat this soup at least once a month! I'm absolutely in love with it! I brought it to work with me one day and had a few co-workers try it and they all wanted me to copy the recipe for them...and now they all make it at home for their families! It is an extremely delicious soup! My absolute favorite!!!! Thank you Rachel Ray!!

I just cooked this soup tonight and it was a hit. I am a major Mexican food fan and trying to get the same taste is often impossible. This recipe was simple to follow and it taste like I was dining in my favorite Mexican restaurant. Thanks Rachel!!!!!

Just made this tonight. I added garlic and black beans and used Hatch green chiles instead of jalapenos. I also used some tomato paste to try to thicken it up and used a little less stock. It was very flavorful without being spicy. My husband loved it. These leftovers definitely won't go to waste!

This is the inspiration for my Rachael Ray cookbook collection. I have never made a soup more delicious than this one and I am constantly getting asked for the recipe by friends & family who have tried it. The only downfall to this recipe was getting the tortilla chips out of the bowl when I finished - better use a disposable bowl if you have it on hand!

This soup had so much flavor and family loved it. I did add corn and patatos to it as a filler but wow we now eat it once a week.
