After I watched the episode, I made the soup. Wow! did my family love it. We topped the soup with sliced black olives, diced avacado and sour cream. What a treat. My men ask for the soup each week.

I've tried several different recipes for tortilla soup, and this one by far is the best. The red bell pepper is a key ingredient - it really makes the flavor. I also added a few cloves of garlic and juice of half a lemon, which gives it a little zing. Rachael has another winner with this one!

This soup is great, and even better the next day reheated!

This soup was really super simple and turned out fabulous. I cheated a little by buying the pre-cooked, pre-chopped chicken in the deli section. Wished it was a little thicker, otherwise it was fantastic.

The only thing I would add is to put the chips on the side or on top because the get mushy rather quick.

This soup is so easy to make and it tastes absolutely delicious! This is hands down my favorite Rachael Ray recipe. I usually don't use the avacado, lime juice, parsely or cilantro and it still tastes fantastic. Thank you Rachael Ray!

This soup was as easy to make as it looked on the show. It was much more flavorful than I had expected. The added garnishes of chips, cheese, avocado and cilantro made a huge difference in the depth of the taste. I cut the chicken stock and the tomatoes in half because we prefer a thicker soup. One of our favorites !

My family loved this soup. This recipe is a keeper. I didn't really care for the soggy tortilla chips under the soup. With the leftovers, we put them on top and it was much better.

Great recipe! Grilled the chicken before placing it in the pot (worked well with the fire-roasted tomatoes, used green & red peppers, 2 jalepenos instead of one (kept all seeds in, added a big can of black beans and omitted the avacado (waste of a topping for me. For me, grilling the chicken better simulated that "fajita"-style rachael was going for.
