I was so excited to make this recipe and was so disappointed. If I wanted chicken soup I would have printed off a chicken soup recipe. Also, way too much tarragon. I will NEVER make it again, I already threw out the recipe.

I neglected to read the reviews before making it, and regretted it once mine too turned to soup. However, a couple handfuls of flour (after everything else was all done fixed it nicely, and it's now one of our new favorites!

I loved this recipe! At first I was skeptical, there wasn't a lot of spices to add flavor when I looked at the recipe, But boy was I wrong! It was so flavorful! Now i make it several times a month. (it's even better the next day! Sometimes i even add noodles or dumplings in place of serving w/ a crusty bread!

    Thanks Rachael Ray!!!!!!

I love this soup but it doesn't seem to thicken for me the way it does on TV for Rachel and I'm not a good chopper yet, so it takes me much longer to cook this and coordinate the cooking. Otherwise I don't like asparagus, so I substitute frozen cut green beans instead. Yummy good stuff.

It was easy to make, but lacked a little bit of flavor. It was good enough to call dinner, and try to make again, althoughvI might add an extra bay leaf and more salt.

So it took me more than 30 minutes to make because I am a perfectionist but it was super easy and fresh. I served it with some breadsticks on the side.

if you like chicken pot pie you will love this recipe better!! the only thing i had to change was the amount of flour in the recipe, 3tbs was not enough i had to use 5. but other than that it was great with some wheat buns!!

I agree with some other reviewers that this was not the consistency of pot pie- but thats an easy fix with flour or cornstarch. It was just slightly bland, so I think next time Ill spice it up a bit (definitely with some garlic- maybe rosemary - But this recipe is definitely a solid starting point!

Such a great recipe. At first I thought that with out the crust would just be like Stew, but no way! I substituted fresh green beans for the asparagus, like Rachel suggested, and it was so wonderful. My husband was dissapointed when it was all gone! This will definately be a staple in my house!
