We just found our new favorite comfort food. A cross between a pot pie and chicken soup - just add noodles and it can be chicken noodle soup!!

This recipe was simple to make and tasted great. It is the perfect alternative to a heavy, calorie-packed pot pie and is just as filling.

My husband and I thought the recipe was pretty good. In the future, I'd add less taragon.

This tasted very good. I followed the recipe but it did not thicken up for me. So it was soup and toast on the side. It did taste wonderful though!

very easy, I added broccoli at the end instead of peas and it turned out great.. my husband loved it. The consistency is more like a soup... but it still tastes great.

I love the chop and drop, especially for this recipe. To get a thicker sauce, I used a couple tablespoons of cornstarch blended in chicken stock and added it when the chicken was done.

The flavor was good, but it was very thin and soupy and I only used 4 cups of broth. Any suggestions on how to thicken it? I topped it with Bisquick buttermilk biscuits to make it more of a dinner than just chicken soup.

It was delicious! I did, however, have to adjust the amount of hot sauce (pepper due to my children's tastes but it was a wonderful appetizer for a holiday dinner!
