I find myself making this recipe quite frequently during football season, and it's always a hit with whoever is over! No changes needed, perfect as is!

I used ground turkey for these subs and my family LOVED them!!! I did NOT add the chicken stock because I didn't want a thin sauce. The seasoning amounts were spot on!!!

    Loved it-
I added an extra 1/2 tablespoon of seasoning to the chicken mixture.

Didn't use chicken stock based on other reviews and I can't imagine how liquid-y it would've been! Without the stock, the sauce is a nice consistency. Added a pinch of sugar to the sauce, left the garlic in and added twice as much red pepper flakes (I love some KICK!

    Absolutely delicious.

To make it low carb, half the bread crumbs and serve over low carb pasta or low carb wrap.

This was an instant hit for my family! Definitely will be making this again! But next time I will use ground turkey instead of chicken.

im reading alot of these comments on this recipe and to some of the people i would have to say i watch rachael ray alot and i dont totally think some of u r grasping the concept of what she says she tells u a hundred times this is a method u can change it up any way u like she is giving u a break down on how to do things and thats what i like about her she inspires me to b creative w all my dishes i make by her such as this very one i only had ground beef so i used it and i toasted my rolls and brushed them w garlic and butter then added the meatballs sauce and cheese and toasted under the broiler and i used tomato sauce in a can and spiced it my way w oregeno basil red pepper flakes and garlic and i added green and red pepper slices after i cooked them for a bit with some mushrooms so mine kinda turned out like a pizza sub and by the way adding crisp pepperoni to it WOW! THE HUBBS LOVED IT so to wrap up this comment she tells u to make it ur own and thats what i did but got the basic idea from her THATS WHERE SHE GETS ALL HER CRAZY IDEAS FROM IS PUTTING THINGS TOGETHER THATS HER METHOD AND THATS WHAT SHES TEACHING! I LOVE UR IDEAS RACH!

These are a crowd pleaser! Make them ahead of time and freeze. Throw them in a pot of sauce when you get home from work and WaaaaLaaaa an awesome dinner in minutes. Skip the bread and eat a bowl full for a lower carb alternative!

This is one of my "go to" recipes. I made it to take to a Halloween party and I'll make it again this weekend for our game night gathering. I find if I make the sauce the night before the flavors meld and the sauce thickens up a bit. I have passed this crowd pleaser to several friends. Thanks Rach!!!

My husband, who loves sauce and Italian inspired dishes wouldn't finish this one! The sauce was very bland! The chicken balls were okay but I would definitely go with beef next time!
