OMG! I made this tonight and it was so incredibly delicious! I was doubtful b/c of the previous reviews, but this is a fantastic dish! I made it pretty much exactly as the recipe suggests except for using Whole Wheat Roman Rigatoni and fat free half and half (1/4 cup plus to 2 tablespoons along with a coffee cup full of the pasta water. It turned out so creamy and flavorful I can't even believe it! The peppers added heat, but not too much...just enough to give a heat flavor, not just a bunch of heat. Rachael, this one is a definite winner! Thank you!

This was really easy & good to eat. I couldn't find the Cubanelle peppers so I left them out ( I had everything else. It made a ton of food so make sure you're having company. The greens were an excellent side dish. Thanks Rachel.

Gosh, I wanted to like this. I got really excited about trying it when I heard it was being served at a party (in Little Falls, NY that I was attending. WHAT??? This can't be the amazing Chicken Riggies I've heard so much about!! I got immediately onto Foodnetwork upon my return home and found this recipe. I gave it a try and I can now say that this is a STICKY, bland (love the term, "monotone" pasta dish. I will try again with crushed red peppers and halved cherry peppers for a brighter flavor!! Try it and make adjustments as your family taste dictates. The greens were not in the dish I tried at the party, but they really DO help this recipe.

It did lack a little flavor, but instead of cherry peppers, I used red pepper flakes. That helped. Also S and P to taste. I liked the cheese and cream in it...will certainly make over and over.

This looked sooo good while watching the episode and to look at the ingredients you would think the same. I looked at the reviews and couldnt see how it could be bland but it seriously lacked flavor. You could taste slightly the different flavors of the peppers and I even added more cherry peppers and left seeds in some but it just didnt cut it for me. Maybe it needs more peppers, cook it longer?? Basic red peppers seem to give more flavor to sauces and I agree with a good vodka sauce to kick up what the cream actually stole from the sauce. I'd try it again, the chicken was tender but I'd definately play around with the recipe.

I made it for my husband tonight and he loved it! He even stood over the pot afterwards and picked out some more of the chicken (just like Rachel said her husband did. It was awesome! A family favorite. The greens were a little spicy for my kids - but the crusty bread ofset the heat for the rest of us. Thanks, RR!

When I saw this on 30 minute meals, it looked so good. But after making it, I have to say I was very disappointed. The combination of peppers were very monotone. There was nothing fiery there to dance with the sweetness of the other peppers.

I did like the chicken and the sauce though. Never thought to used crushed tomatoes for a pasta sauce. I'll keep that idea for future pasta recipes.

    Sorry Rach!

I was excited to try this when Rachael made it on her show. When she stated that it had become her family's favorite, I just knew it had to be good. All I can say, after making it tonight, is that it is so very bland. I tried to intensify the flavor of the sauce by adding more seasoning and a little bit of red wine, but it was still bland. My husband sais it was good, but I think he was just trying to make me feel better, after chopping all the peppers. I will not make this again. Very bland, very lackluster. I was very disappointed in this recipe. Time is valuable, won't waste time on this one again. Too many good recipes out there!

Chicken Riggies has become my family?s favorite comfort food. This dish is awesome and easy to prepare. It's now a favorite of my daughter's family too. My husband isn't a big fan of hot dishes and this dish was easy to tame. It truly is versatile and will be a keeper. Thanks Rachel!
