My husband and I really enjoyed these sandwiches. I made sure to toast the hamburger buns a little before assembling them. I think doing this helped the bread stand up to the warm chicken and sauce better. Only had hamburger buns because there isn't much variety where we live.

absolutely love this receipe. the sauce is amazing (i think the apple juice and lime really add something special! took me less than 30 minutes to make and is always a hit with my husband. i use bagged cole slaw instead of cutting up all those veggie; tastes great and add a wonderful crunch!

We love this and have it all the time. I found the juice of a whole lime too overpowering so I just use half. It is great as a sandwich or served with rice or pasta. Great all three ways and easy!

A-MAZING! Really the satay sauce is just wonderful. There is no denying this makes a great sandwich but I have made this recipe for parties. I have made grilled chicken on a stick and made this as a dipping sauce and is always the first to go at parties. If nothing else, try this satay sauce!

I've been making this for years and we still love it. Whenever we want to save a little money and bring our own lunch we bring this sandwich. So it's not so messy, I put it in pita bread not on rolls. It's a lot less messy that way. I love that it's easy to make and it has veggies in it.

I love Rachel's recipes, and so does my husband - but not this one. The chicken with the grill spices is very good - we will make that again - but the sauce, it just did not taste right to either of us. We used lemon juice instead of lime, so maybe that made the difference. Rachel's recipes are a regular occurrence at our home, but this one will not be repeated.

When I saw Rachel Ray making this on TV, I was a bit skeptical, especially since the ingredients going into the satay sauce seemed a bit incomplete. I decided to make this for my picky toddler today, but I did have to make some changes to the sauce. I added a little bit of brown sugar, used less lime, and omitted the hot sauce. After cooking the chicken and dipping it in the sauce, I was very surprised that I liked the taste. Not sure about bringing it on a plane, though.

I love chicken satay. I love chicken salad sandwiches. So when I saw this recipe, I had to try it. I just really didn't like it much. Hard to put my finger on it, but wasn't in love with the taste. I found another chicken salad satay sandwich recipe on a different site, and the family was much happier with the results.

I have to agree with the other rater who felt the lime was overpowering. When I make this again I will halve the lime juice, increase peanut butter and add sesame oil to make the sauce. Was still very good.

This recipe is easy, and it is so good. The chicken tastes so good on a kaiser roll. The only thing i will say, is make sure not to put more peanutbutter in then necessary because then it can become a Little overpowering, but if you put the right amount of peanutbutter in, me and my whole family love this dish!
