    I couldn't believe how easy these were to make. And super yummy. I used ground turkey because I couldn't find ground chicken. This is definetly one for repeating.

    I've had other chicken/apple sausage before (mainly link style but wanted to be able to make them myself at home. I would love to have the nutritional content of these b/c I can tell you the store bought ones are horrifyingly NOT healthy! I thought these would be healthier and I think they are. Be sure to not omit the fennel seeds....I was tempted to leave them out, b/c I thought my husband wouldn't like the flavor, but they really are what make the patties "sausage-y" tasting. I wouldn't hesitate making these for company anytime and I agree with the person who used turkey...I may try that next time! Thanks, Rachael for a simple, tasty and healthy recipe!

    This was very tasty, the apples was amazing.
    I felt like mine were pretty thin, and still I would say medium not medium high heat unless you want pink innards.
