Like all of Rachael's dishes, it won't disappoint. The only thing I recommend is to go easy on the cherry peppers. They make it so hot that it distracts you from the great taste of the dish. But it's easy to make and along with the orzo it's a winning combination. Thanks Rachael!

What a tasty dish this is. However, I modified the recipe. I grilled 3 Italian sausages (you can use either mild or spicy and quarter-inch sliced them on an angle and added them to the pan after browning the chicken, so they may brown as well. I removed the sausage pieces to keep them warm with chicken. Since I used sausages, I cut down the next tablespoon of olive oil that needed to be added to the pan (eye balled it. To the pepper mixture, I included thinly sliced shallots from 1 shallot and 5-6 whole garlic cloves (instead of sliced/chopped and sauted. With the extra meat, I doubled the liquid and simmered the vegetable mixture until reduced by more than 1/2. It was a big hit with my family - they liked the original recipe, but said it needed something else in it.

Great family dinner recipe. This was simple and quick to prepare and our teenagers loved it!

Served it on a bed or orzo and it was great!

Tried this recipe tonight. It lacks taste and the hot peppers made the sauce much to hot for me. I think it needs to have onions or something to add flavor. Sorry Rachael, this was awful.

I had this dish in western Connecticut many years ago and will never forget it. However, This recipe was mediocre and I will continue my search for another. My wife did a lot of work to make this recipe. She's a great cook, but this was a lousy recipe. I felt bad telling her it was not very good.

This was a dish my husband liked because of the spice. My daughter and I did not care for it. Something seemed to be missing in the dish. We did add more salt when eating chicken. Disappointing but edible.

I have made this several times. It is Fantastic! The balsamic dressing was such a hit I make it frequently with other menus. I love that Rachel's recipies are usually made with fresh ingredients that are easy to find, and the number of ingredients are minimal, making the dishes delish and easy.

Waste of ingredients and time. And this was a very simple recipe to make. I've never even had Chicken Scarpariello before so I can't compare. What I can compare to is any other dish out there and this is just a rotten recipe. The poultry seasoning makes the dish too "thymey" if that is even a word. Then the sauce is really wet and loose. Flavors are just lacking! I added a squeeze of lemon at the end and that helped some.

I completely agree with Lynn- add italian sausage and you will get a better flavor. Not the best Chicken Scarpariello recipe ever. Not even close.

I will be making this tonight. Any chicken scarparillo dish that I have eaten has always had sausage in it. For those of you who have commented on it not having much flavor, I would suggest adding italian sweet sausage. The flavor of the sausage really enhances the rest of the ingredients in this dish. Try it and I think you'll like it
