While decent, it was a tad bland. Definitely needed something more, though it was good enough for a revisit! The mushrooms were fantastic, though I think next time I'll try it with wild rice instead of the orzo. I feel the texture and flavor of wild rice would better compliment the mushrooms then orzo.

This dish was really flavorful, and I always follow a recipe to the letter the first time I make it. Then I will tweak it or make substitutions if I feel it is necessary the next time.

Delicious! We had a large amount of leftover cooked, unseasoned turkey cutlets from a previous night and I wanted to find a creative way to use them up. This recipe was perfect. My mom doesn't prefer orzo, so I paired this with wild rice, though if I made it again I would serve it on top of some linguine!
I only used organic baby portobello mushrooms and none of the other suggested mushrooms, so I used two packages worth (maybe 30 mushrooms total. I also cooked them for longer than recommended, probably twice as long. I didn't have fresh thyme so i used dried, which turned out fine. Also I used half and half, not cream. I added the turley cutlets in when she says to add the chicken, though I kept the cutlets whole instead of slicing them. I like the presentation better that way.
I sauce was to die for. We all couldn't stop eating even though we were past full. Awesome recipe, great way to use up those turkey cutlets. Might even try it next time with the chicken! :

Not a fan of this dish. It was bland even after bumping up the seasoning. Good news my 9 year old loved it!

It is definitely an hour. Found it to be bland. I even used beef broth instead of chicken. Would not to make this dish again.

Good recipe but next time I will definitely use less salt as it was too salty for my taste. I used ready made stock which in itself is already salty. Apart from that it was delicious..

Yucko! This really didnt have much flavor and was far too much work for such poor results. Used aged balsamic and that wasnt the problem. Rachel's recipes often fall short for me.
