Excellent Dish which I will make again. The only things I changed up a bit was the sauce by adding about 1/2 cup cream and a little extra balsamic (I always love extra sauce. The orzo pasta went beautifully with this dish, I may try to do the same dish with strips of grilled beef.

I love this recipe and make it all the time! I like to use chopped chives instead of parsley at the end though.

I made this last night for me and my partner and I have to say it was really really good and will be making it so many more times. Instead of orzo I used penne after reading other reviews and people saying that it was bland dont know what they were talking about. I eyeballed my spices so could have been more however it was not bland. You can take any recipe and make it your ouwn and thats just what I did changed up the spices and pasta and wow it was just great.

Made this dish tonight. Had to use what I had which was white mushrooms & yellow onion, that said I also (after reading reviews added extra balsamic. My husband loved it !!! I thought it was pretty good. The pasta I used was gemlli. I will make this again.

First, I have to admit, I did change the recipe a little (after reading other reviews that said it was bland. The only significant thing I did is season the chicken with a little thyme and rosemary, along with the salt and pepper in the recipe and sprinkled it with Emeril's Essence (which I always have on hand for other recipes. I also cooked the Orzo in chicken stock (which I then reserved to use as called for in the recipe to add a little extra flavor to it. The dish was delicious. I also topped it with some fresh parm to serve. LOTS of flavor, and some really simple additions.
Others were right in saying that it's not a 30 minute meal. Closer to 45-50 minutes.

Nothing special about this recipe. I agree with the others..very bland. If I make this again, I will add my own flavors to kick it up!

Disappointing. Thought it would be great but came out quite bland and sauce was runny not creamy.
