I really like this recipe of hers. i made well seassoned thin oven fires for the chili to go on and afer the first time i made it now i add 4-5 thik sliced bacon strips and 2 more hot dogs and brown them in the bacon grease but i cut then in small half moons, and i added 1tbs crushed garlic. it is amazing, perfict hot dog chili.

Had these for a big game. Decided from the other comments to not use the hot dogs, and just increase the ground sirloin. I also added a cut up jalenpeno pepper some black olive slices and a 5 ounce package of shredded Mexican Blend cheese. Excellent.

This is a great recipe, sooo easy and sooo good!! My family loved it and went back for seconds! The only thing I did was double the recipe and added olives! Will make again especially for get togethers!

We thought this was really good! I did substitue deer sausage for hot dogs for a healthy version.
