My family and I love this reciipe and is fairly easy to make. Also my husband is in the United States Navy and is stationed on a destroyer and during there deployment I made the chili dog nachos and took it with me to one of our faimly support meetings we have during the ships deployment and it was a great success and won everyone over including the captains wife.

I made this for Super Bowl sunday it was awesome!! I spread half with corn tortilla chips and the other half with frito's scoops and they were both great. The scoops seem to hold the crunch longer than the chips. This is going to be served again on Daytona 500 day.

I am always keeping an eye out for recipes that I can try. This one was simple and fast. I made some tweaks, since we are both trying to watch our weight (I used ground turkey and chicken dogs, low-fat cheddar, and I believe the chips were also low fat. Instead of sour cream , I used non-fat yogurt with dill-weed. It still came out amazing and we had to control ourselves not to finish the whole thing between the two of us and the dog!

These nachos were very tasty and I liked the twist of addding hot dogs. I would however not add salt while cooking the beef because the tortilla chips have more than enough salt for the entire dish. Also, next time I would arrange this on a platter instead of a casserole dish ... you can't easily get them out of the dish. I would definitely make this again.

These were delicious. We added some chopped tomatoes as garnish. Thanks, Rachel for this easy, wonderful meal.

I made these a couple of days ago because I liked the idea of a chili cheese dog without the bun with (on tortilla chips. I added a can of red kidney beans because it just isn't chili in our house without the beans. My husband loved them and they are on the Super Bowl menu at our house for this year.
