We used cayenne pepper instead and maybe added too much---the spice was over powering. With all the added heat, it's hard to enjoy.

Much better if you steam the broccoli first.

Made this broccoli tonight for a quick side dish....absolutely excellent! My man really loved it! Great flavor...I have been tired of just steaming broccoli, and this is a wonderful alternative to preparing a healthy side dish of veggies! Thanks, Rachael!

Put all ingredients in a large ziploc, marinated for several hours then grilled. Divine! Added okra last time. One word of warning, use a grill seasoning WITHOUT SALT otherwise it is entirely too salty.

This broccoli is the BEST. My mom asks me to make this recipe every time I make a meal for my family...we once had it two nights in a row. I double the recipe because everyone likes it so much.

So much flavor and while I like broccoli normally, I LOVE it like this.

I was really surprised that I enjoyed this. I like broccoli, but am really sick of fixing it the same ways. I found this recipe and was skeptic. Once I fixed it, my husband tried it first and said it was awesome. When I tried it, I was amazed. Thanks for this recipe, it shakes things up and gives us more options.

This is a great way to prepare broccoli for non-broccoli eaters as it covers the strong taste of broccoli. I prepared it as directed with McCormick's, and it turned out just ok. The biggest problem was that is was WAY too salty. It's all I could taste! Tried it again and used Mrs. Dash salt-free Hamburger seasoning in place of the McCormick, and it was great! Just enough salt in the chili powder to flavor it, but not overpower it. Watch closely as mine was done in about 14 minutes. Great recipe for those who want all of the fiber in broccoli without the strong taste or cheese sauce.

I make this all the time, but I sub cooking spray for the oil and garlic powder for the chucnks of garlic. Yummy, healthy, easy. Love it!
