    I love avocados so I made this when I saw it. But, it just wasn't very good. I didn't the chili powder on them and overall it was just a strange presentation.

    I was looking for a simple avocado appetizer/side dish, and this recipe certainly fits the bill. However, I wasn't really crazy about the use of chili powder. It was a little grainy with the avocados, and the flavor threw me off. If I ever make this dish again, I will probably substitute the chili powder with some other spicy sauce.

    I received this recipe from a neighbor who got it from another neighbor! My husband and I had it with a chipotle marinated steak and we were in food lover's heaven!

    Great for a last minute side dish. I used chipotle powder and it was great too. I let them sit at room temp for 20 minuteds before serving.

    Shhhh! It's a sneaky way to eat more avocados when you love them. What a refreshing flavor and a beautiful presentation! [Be sure to taste the dressing to get it just right.]
