I tried this recipe a few days ago and I loved it! I have never been a big fan of fish outside of salmon and tuna, but this was great. It's a very good recipe for people who are afraid of cooking fish, beacuse the breading and frying make it very easy for the fish to come out nicely. I added a splash of tabasco to the eggs before dipping, and it was great.

Did this last week after work, but used chicken breasts (cut in half so they weren't so thick instead of fish b/c my husband and I don't like any kind of fish. It was great! Used the Panko bread crumbs and the outside was so crispy and delicious!

I made this last night and my boyfriend and I gave it a 10. The fish was very moist and tasty and quick and easy to prepare.
I'm not a big fan of thyme so I only used half the amount. Also, I made 5 filets and had a lot of bread crumb mixture left over.
The fresh lime juice and salt after frying and as we were eating was key for me!
I will definitely make this again, soon, and try different fish.

This recipe was very easy to prepare and the entire family enjoyed it. The lime flavor really came out, probably could have added a touch more garlic. I used panko bread crumbs, and the crust was perfect. I was thinking at the time this would make a great sandwich. I paired it with a side of cole slaw.

The whole family loved this one!. Even my 10 year old who doesn't always enjoy fish. It could of been a little hotter for me but the rest of the family thought it was perfect. It was really simple to make. MY 10 year old prepared the fish., dipped the fish in the bread crumbs etc. I'll be making this meal a lot now.

Made this whole meal today after work. I used orange roughy because that was the only fish I had in the freezer. It worked great!

I can never get my father to eat fish, but he actually ate this! I used pollock instead of tilapia and I didn't have thyme, but I followed the rest of the recipe pretty closely (except I think I did add more chili powder, I like my spice. I'll be making this one again! Next time I'll use less breading materials, because I had tons of flour and breadcrumbs leftover, but the quantities given are a good starting point.

This fish was delicious -- nice and crispy but not too heavily fried. This would also make a delicious sandwich with leftovers!
