This dish was absolutely delcious. I couldn't find the chipotle in adobe so I used the option of the chipotle powder instead and I also omitted the water chestnuts. Other than that, I made the recipe as instructed and loved it. I even enjoyed this version of brown rice (much healthier than white--as did my husband who is NOT a fan of brown rice. The spice in this dish is nice and hot, with burning lips I enjoyed ever single bite. Already looking forward to the leftovers for lunch! Great job Rachael.

This has become one of if not the most favorite recipes in our house! It is requested very often, at least once a month if not twice. We did, decrease the chipotle a bit due to the spiciness and kids. But wow what a fabulous combintation of tastes. I have never reviewed a recipe but this was definitely review worthy! You won't be sorry when you try this one! FABULOUS!!!

I was really wanting a good recipe with cashews in it, and Rachael Ray has never let me down (other than another recipe with chipolte pepper in it so I decided to try this. It makes a LOT of food, and I guess I had such high expectations for it, that when it turned out to be not so yummy I was incredibly disappointed. Not even my dad could finish it, and he will eat anything. My rice didn't cook, so that was a huge waste and the taste of the pepper just wasnt something that was too yummy when mixed in with a chinese themed meal. Just not my cup of tea!

My 15 year old son usually just sits down and eats his dinner without much comment. But when I made this he looked up surprised and said this is LEGITIMATELY GOOD! What a nice compliment!

I had never used cumin before and now I want to make more dishes like this. It was so different and it tasted like something you would get in a restaurant. It was not hard to make at all. And don't worry about little ones, my 8 year has been asking me to make it again!

One hint - just make sure you really sear the chicken with the soy sauce. It will make a nice glazed coating.

I knew when I read this recipe that we'd either hate it or love it. That list of ingredients is, to say the least, interesting. Well, we love it. We have 7 kids who pretty much stick to tacos and spaghetti and roast. But this has been added to the favorite list. And the way she came up with the recipe - amazing!

Never take the time to rate recipes but had to after trying this recipe. My husband and I love it and already made it for the second time in 3 days. Used a little less syrup and honey but that was about it!
