This dish was good but they need to tell you how much Grand Marnier to put in. My boyfriend picked up 4 of those mini ones to equal up to 1 cup. 1 mini bottle was not enough so he added more. They were ok but I agree with bmyers146 about too much of the liqueur flavor. The orange zest on top was also just nasty! I had to force myself to finish. Although it was super easy and I melted the chocolate with heavy cream it was not enough to make the berries and orange liqueur taste better.

This dish did not seem balanced. Occasionally, I would find that perfect bite in my mouth, but it was usually either too much tart, or too much of the liqueur flavor. This dish was incredibly easy, but I would not make it again.

This dessert was so easy to make and it tasted great! I loved the elegant presentation as well. I served mine in fancy wine glasses, so it looked really nice. The dark chocolate paired nicely with the strawberries. I will be making this again soon. :

Have made this twice for friends with RAVE reviews!! What could be better than Strawberries and Chocolate??? The sauce is like a creamy hot fudge. So yummy! This is my new go-to dessert as I love berries and my husband LOVES chocolate! Bianca, Palm Coast,Florida, 2/18/10

I hosted a women's book club dinner, serving soup and salad and Drunken Berries in a Chocolate River for dessert. I chose it because it had chocolate and looked so easy to prepare. My only deviation from the recipe, besides increasing the amount I made, was to add raspberries and blueberries. I am no cook, believe me, but I scored with this recipe. Everyone loved it.

I made the ganache as directed and that turned out fabulous. I am not a big fan of strawberries so I used one pint of raspberries and one pint of blackberries. Then I added Chambord. I served the berries over good ice cream, then the ganache. I whipped heavy cream with powdered sugar, vanilla and a hint of nutmeg and used this to top off my dessert. OMG. Absolute heaven.
