FYI, this has been my default go-to Chowder recipe since you aired...I love the fact that celery leaf tops are included : My family compares my (your chowder to Pike Place Chowder in Seattle, which is the ultimate and a compliment : Thank you for this show and recipe!

This was great and I also adapted the recipe to make manhatten clam chowder using spicy tomato juice. Yummo

I've been making this clam chowda since the first time i saw it on 30 mins, i think like 2 yrs ago.. ( with a few changes like more celery and potatoes, also use red potatoes instead of frozen We still love it and my husband and uncle request it quite often during hunting season and throughout winter. By far THE BEST SOUP EVER!!! If you haven't tried this do so, you will not be disappointed!

This clam chowder is the best I've ever made. It's easy and has a real "down East" taste. Thanks Rach.

This is the newest recipe to be added to my "Soup Recipes". Easy and quick to make. I had some fresh portabello mushrooms on hand that I cut up and added. A real flavorful clam chowder that everyone liked!

I'm a nurse and am bringing this to work for my dinner break. I grated a potatoe and used dried tyme and one more can of clams. This is really wonderful. I will not have canned clam chowder ever again....
