I LOVE Clam Chowder, so when we decided to try this recipe, I was excited. It came out so good! It is the best clam chowder we have ever had. It is pretty much a weekly meal. We don't make the sandwiches, but the soup is great. Try putting some rosemary in it for more flavor. I can't say enough about this wonderful soup!

This is the best chowda my family has ever tasted. Including the "fish shacks in Maine & NH"

I thought this was a very easy and delicious soup to make. I added the entire package of potatoes and just added milk as needed to keep it from getting to thick. Doing this makes it more like potato soup with clams, but everyone I've served this too asls for the recipe, even those who say they don't like clam chowder!

Wow! This dish is so delicious!! It has that slowed cooked taste but was very quick and simple. My husband said it was as good if not better than the chowder at our favorite restaurant. You can't go wrong with this one if you like clam chowder.

This chowder tasted just like the clam chowder at my family's favorite seafood restaurant. Sadly, the restaurant burned down several years ago and I've found no clam chowder even similar. This was so good and I can't wait make another batch and take it to my parents. Thanks Rachael!

Added 1 cup of clam juice and extra bacon (crisped it up first. This was a huge hit with my family. Thanks!

This is a wonderful, comforting and easy meal. I couldn't give it 5 stars because I really wished that the directions said to rinse the clams. I have never worked with canned clams before and boy were they gritty. I'll know for next time.
