I've tried so many recipies for clam chowder and have been so dissapointed until trying this recipe. I had my friend tell me it's the best they've ever had! I like to add a little hot pepper flakes to it too for added spice.

Loved this quick and simple clam chowder. I don't like the refrigerated hash browns so I just grated my own potato. Made the deviled ham w/o out the english muffin. It was okay but we'll stick to the chowda.

I read the reviews before I made the Chowda, but I thought, "It CAN'T be that good." IT IS!
I made this for my parents on Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and we decided that clam chowda should be a new "pre-holiday" meal tradition. We didn't make the mug toppers; we just served this with oyster crackers.

I thought this recipe was very easy not to mention excellent tasting. I also loved the shredded hashbrowns. Almost no leftovers with this...only one bowlful! Everyone loved it and I will definitely make it again and again. Thanks

I made this clam chowdah for my husband and it was delicious! I added a few dabs of tabasco for flavor, and of course oyster crackers. It was thick and very flavorful. I liked the shredded potato idea.
I'm not much of a ham person, but thought I would try it for the heck of it. I added a dab of relish and a heaping tablespoon of Miracle whip to the recipe. The presentation was great, but my husband wasn't sold on them. I probably won't make them again.
But I'm sold on the chowdah!
