Hubby doesn't care for green olives, and declared he wouldn't like this because of it... LOL He LOVED it, ate every bit, green olives and all *s*, and says the cooking method is awesome since it cooked the fish perfectly. Only tweak I made was to saute the fennel and onion for a couple minutes in a bit of butter & oil before topping the fish. Oh my, what a keeper! THANX, Rach!

Delicious. I tossed green beans in olive oil and roasted them right along side the packets for a more rounded meal. I think next time I would use less onion or a sweeter one?

OMG, this is so easy & TASTES GREAT! My family of finicky eaters mowed through this and actually gave compliments. Maybe the user indicating "worst stuff" should switch it up with ingredients the family prefers. The process is easy & is a great "do-ahead".

So much flavor yet feels very light. So easy, too.

I was trying to surprise my family and I did. They took one bite and went to the local grocery store for fried chicken from the deli. This was the worst stuff. If you like good tasting fish this is not the recipe to try.

I tried this recipe tonight with halibut instead of cod, as that is what looked the best at the market. The recipe was very quick and easy to prepare, and it was absolutely delicious! I will keep this recipe to make regularly, as it is very light and interesting and fits my dietary guidelines (I skip the bread. Thanks very much for such a wonderful recipe.

It's a shame since this dish is not only very easy to make, but very healthful. Unfortunately, flavor is not a star in this dish and was completely lacking of it. Presentation was superb (my room mate commented that she felt she was at a fancy restaurant but taste was defying (she pushed out all the olives to the side of her plate, not to mention olives are a little pricey. It smelled great because of the fennel but that's about as far as it goes. This is not a repeater, neither was this good as a leftover.

This was very bland, I expected a little more flavor with the fennel. I think I may try it again, with some salmon and dill, and maybe some orange to go with the fennel.

This recipe was easy to make and had a nice, delicate flavor. I like that it is easy to modify and quick to cook. I left out the olives since my husband doesn't care for them, but otherwise followed the recipe. I think next time I will add a bit more veggies and put some lemon slices on top of the fish for a little extra flavor. Otherwise, excellent weekday dish.

I found the recipe 2 weeks ago and have already made the fish 3 times. My whole family loves it! While the directions might seem tricky, its very simple to make. You just layer the vegetables, add the fish, season, and wrap it up in a sack made from parchment paper! Its delicious!
