I didn't have chives so I finely chopped 1/3 of a cup of onion.

WOW is all I can say.

there were not left over and everyone wanted more.

Excellent for breakfast. I did not use olive oil to fry the bacon, instead I used Pam with olive oil for the pan. I also used shredded cheese instead of block of cheese. These muffins are very filling and they do not crumble with a plain corn muffin does.

Turns out I didn't have any paprika in the house and only garlic chives. I made the recipe with the garlic chives and no paprika and it still turned out great. A real winner for brunch or for having company over for breakfast!

YOU JUST FIX THE MUFFINS ACCORDING TO THE DIRECTIONS ON THE BOX MIX YOU ARE USING.....350 ON JIFFY MIX. JUST ADD THE COOKED BACON BITS, CHOPPED CHEDDAR CHEESE SMOKED SWEET PAPRIKA AND CHOPPED CHIVES AND BAKE...I DID SIX BIG SCOOPS INSTEAD OF 8 SMALLER ONES AND THEY WERE BIG AND VERY TASTY......
