It was OK. It was REALLY thick. I've never had polenta before so I'm not entirely sure what the consistency should be but maybe if I had added more liquid it would have been better. I personally think that this dish as it was in the episode would have been better with some good ole' jalapeno grits.

Made this with the fish featured in this episode and it is now one of my husbands favorite sides.

Love this recipe!!!! I cooked this many times now, and while Rachel's recipe calls for chicken stock, I've recently used water instead, and found it even better! (maybe the store-bought chicken stock is not that great I guess. I usually cook this as a side dish for mussels, but it's also good just by itself. I will only cook my polenta like this!! Thanks Rach!!!!

I made this whole meal today when I got home from work. Even using regular (not quick polenta, it took 30 minutes. The family loved it. I only had orange roughy so decided to try that and it was great. This is a keeper.
