no I actually crave it! This recipe ROCKS! I have been making this for a couple of years now every time I make it I think "hey this is better than the last time I made it!" Friends and family love it too! I agree with the other reviews you need to dail back on the pasta not quite a full 1lb. box and I use thin spaghetti. I also use a half pound of center cut bacon! Try it! :- And double the amount of fire roasted tomatoes. This recipe is a dinger out of the park!!

Our family just literally ate it up! I do only one variation and that is to add an extra can of tomatoes and a bit more worst. sauce. Every week I have to make it for the family. My granddaughter asks for it on a regular basis and calls it Cowboy Pisgetti. Every time we eat this dish (like tonight she always says...I really need to send Rachel Ray a letter to say thank you so much for this cowboy pisgetti...Lindsay is 5 and loves to cook with me. So thanks for developing such a fun dish for everyone.

Rachel,
I LOVE you Girl...But I didn't care for this dish at all!!! I think it simply lacked flavor. My hubby liked it and will be eating the leftovers tonight. I just expected something totally different. But, keep up the GOOD job that you do. I think you are FABULOUS. Just didn't care for this recipe... at all. Sorry ,but won't be making one again! But, am glad others enjoy it.

My husband and kids LOVED this recipe. So much, that I made it "Vaquero" Night (followed by Bullet Popsicles for dessert. The meat sauce is so flavorful. I used center-cut bacon to cut back on fat. I also added chunks of red bell pepper and fresh tomatoes on-the-vine. I only used 1/2 of Med White Onion, 3 cloves of garlic, and skipped the hot sauce (with the kids in mind. Instead, I set crushed pepper flakes and oregano at the table for those of us who like "a kick"! The flavor was still rich! and dinner was ready within 35min. (Only a pan & a pot to wash, too! Can you ask for more?! I was out of spaghetti. I substituted with Whole-Grain Fettuccine. It worked just fine!
This recipe inspired me to go camping and try cooking it in the woods.

We made this recipe with penne pasta and smoked cheddar cheese and topped it off with sour cream. It was amazing. My family asks for it every week.

Rachael,
This was a fantastic variation on traditional spaghetti! The worchestershire sauce and hot sauce really gave it a tremendous kick. Thanks for such a quick and delicious recipe.
