I always run to Rachel Ray when I am looking for something tasty fast. These crab cakes were fun to make, since I let the kids help me mix up the ingredients. BIG hit with the whole family.

I'll be the first to admit that this might be a case of "user error", as I'm not the best cook in town, but my crab cakes failed miserably....
They didn't stick together, rather they were more like crab salad, and when I put them in the oil to fry, they completely fell apart - I'll take any advice I can get as I'm determined to make them, and make them well!

This recipe makes great portion control and the flavor is great. I used fat free sour cream to lighten the calories and used Kemp's imitation crab and couldn't really taste the difference. WAY to go Rachael. From Rochester, NY

Great, fast, delicious! A winner at the table, and no leftovers. I served with couscous and a salad and it was great. Will definately make again.

i would cut down on the amount of liquid that went into these crab cakes- mine were a little runny- i used bread crumbs instead of craker meal and it worked fine- this is worth a try..

We love the roasted red pepper sauce but thought the crab cakes had to much of a baking powder taste. The lemon zest helped take out a little bit of baking powder bite. The recipe listed 2 tablespoons of mayo in the recipe summary but failed to include it in how to portion of the recipe

This was an incredible recipe! My whole family loved them, esp with the red pepper sauce. We were sad when all 8 were gone and there were no seconds. :-( I couldn't find cracker meal so I substituted seasoned bread crumbs. I served it with a veggie salad tossed with lemon juice, olive oil and salt & pepper. The citrus was just right as an accompaniment to the crab cakes. We'll definitely make this again.

Great crabcakes - made mini's for a party - BIG HIT. So big that we made them for dinner the next night, too! Didn't get to try the sauce - next time we will!
