Made this for a New Year's Eve party and all anyone could taste was orange zest- what a waste of money and time- I will never trust Rachael again- while she was making this on her show she kept saying, "Trust me- ALL of your friends will want this recipe!" Wrongo!

This is a recipe may be fast but for taste, its pretty bland. This recipe was not flavorful at all.

This is the best tasting crab salad EVER! If you can use fresh dungness the best tasting crab meat on the planet. Could eat this everyday.

I did not like this recipe at all. There was no flavor in the meat. I tried making this dish two times and was equally disapointed. I'm rather spoiled at age 11 I was eating maryland blue crabs on the Chesapeak Bay, and there is an awesome crab shack less than two miles away from my house. If you like procesed, store bought crab then go for it.

I disagree with many of the reviews. The orange zest made it fresh tasting, and although Giada's recipe is also excellent, this is very different and I absolutely LOVE it! The only change I made was a little more Hellmans Mayo and 1 T. splenda plus a tiny splash of pommegranite vinegar (although any vinegar would work. This is a GREAT recipe, very healthy, fresh, and different. I served it tonight at a dinner party and it got RAVE reviews.

I didn't like the orange zest with my crab salad. The salad was good, but I think a lemon zest might have worked better or no zest at all.

Simple, caters to most palates, and economical enough to allow upgrade on crab meat. Endive presentation is so pretty and elegant.

    Options:
    - splash of vodka instead of orange zest if seafood odor is concern
    - a pinch of curry powder, very delicious
    - iceburg lettuce is nice substitute for endives if unavailable/dislike bitterness

Tip: don't make too far ahead, you'll lose crunchiness of radishes, etc.
