I made this for a Christmas day snack/appetizer, and was pretty disappointed. It was bland, very watery, and because nobody liked it, I ended up with tons of leftovers. I ended up adding some mayo and putting it on crackers.

I thought it was a pretty big waste of expensive lump crab meat, and probably should have made crab cakes instead.

this recipe was horrible.. i read the reviews prior and adjusted the chili sauce to reduce liquid.. still way too watery and too sweet. i threw the whole batch away because no one would eat it.

This recipe was a big hit at my Thanksgiving dinner. I actually made it with shrimp. It was so good that I made some more on Friday. Yummo!

This recipe is pretty good. I found it to be a little too sweet but great none the same. I got quite a few complements on it.

After reading some of the other reviews (and spending a lot of money on crab meat I was a little unsure about this recipe. The overwhelming complaint was that it was "soupy", so I was very aware of how much liquid was going in. After I chopped the veggies in the food processor I put them into a clean flour-sack towel (quadrupled up and wrung them really well to get out as much of the water as I could. I did not measure the chili sauce, but instead poured it in until I liked the way it looked and tasted. I bought belgian endive and served the salad in those instead of iceberg. The recipe turned out fresh-tasting and beautiful and everyone loved this appetizer!

I really liked this one. (took a lot longer than 10 minutes though. I ditched the lettuce and served it with crackers. Delish!

Very delicious & figure-friendly. Nice alternative to mayo & sour cream.

This was my first disappointing recipe. I used HALF of the recommended chili sauce and it was still very soupy. The flavor was ok, but definitely not a repeatable recipe.

I liked this recipe. I just cut back on the chili sauce a little. But it has a nice kick or great way to spice up your lunch.
