    This recipe was much easier than I expected! I never thought about making creamed corn myself until I saw this episode of 30 Minute Meals! It was easy and the entire family enjoyed it. I consider it a comfort food indulgence! The only thing I will change next time (for Easter dinner is that I will leave out the red pepper because my daughter balked at the color (not the flavor, mind you.

    I'm a kitchen/cooking novice, but found this recipe to be quick, easy, AND delicious. My husband and father both raved over it. I especially liked that Ms. Ray added a fresh twist (by adding scallions, celery, red peppers, etc. to this side dish.
    I am not, typically, a creamed corn fan - but I have to admit to reheating it straight from my refrigerator for lunch.

    I had five guests for dinner and everyone loved this recipe but I did have to cook it longer than the recipe says, and I added much more half and half. Probably at least 1 or 2 cups more than the recipe says. But it really is very yummy. Would definately make it again.

    The flavor is great but I found that I liked the dish better when I made a roux and thickened it.

    Wow this was so easy and it tastes really good. So much better than canned cream corn for sure. I did not use any bell peppers just personal preferance and it was yummy.
