This one is great; brought back memories of the crepe stands in Japan.

This was the first time for me to make Crepes. I used the Basic Crepe recipe here and have no real complaints. I do wonder if I could cut back a little on the butter as one side seemed to be a bit shiny as they came out of the pan and cooled.
I made them three days before Chrismas and as they cooled stacked them, seperating with wax paper and then froze them. Set them out to thaw Christmas morning. Mid afternoon we hit them individually in the microwave for a few seconds then stuffed some of them with vanilla ice cream and then topped with Cherry pie filling and Cherry liquor heated, or blueberry pie filling and brandy heated. Add some whip cream and powdered sugar. Others we loaded with bananas and topped with chocolate syrup, whip cream and powdered suger. Everyone loved them.

Use whatever fillings you want. The "flipping" is tricky!! Good luck!

I tried it, even though I thought I knew better, and it turns out I was right.
The brandy ruined the entire thing.
I enjoy all her recipes, but this one tanked. I really enjoy reading all the negative reviews by the "haters" out there. Why don't you go be productive somewhere?

This was easy to make, but I agree with another reviewer - it tastes like a fried egg, not a crepe. I was disappointed and upset at wasting six eggs in the batter. Use less eggs and it will probably taste MUCH better.

The crepe recipe with the brandy was not good. I tossed it and just made omelets with the fillings. Delish.
