I found them fantastic the first time! then fine the second time, but by the third time I thought they became kind of boring. However, I think that a big chicken eater, such as the rest of my family, would never grow tired of this recipe. But, these are by far better than Tyson or another boxed brand.
    Thanks Rachel!

This BY FAR the best baked chicken "nugget" recipe I have tried. My husband loved them and my children loved them. There were no left overs! Once when I had no corn flakes, I substituted whole wheat club crackers for both the corn flakes and the bread crumbs and eliminated the salt since the crackers are salted. It also worked awesome!

Great recipe! Thank you, Rachel, for helping me to teach my children to cook and eat healthy. We tossed our toes in whole wheat flour. I used exactly 1.5 lbs. chicken and the toes covered two non-stick cooking sheets. I cooked both sheets for 30 minutes in the 375 degree oven at the same time, swapping their placement in the oven at the 15 minute mark. I whipped up my own dipping sauce with ingredients I had on hand: BBQ sauce, whole grain mustard, raw honey, non-fat greek yogurt, and lemon juice.

I was skeptical about not adding any seasonings to the chicken itself and only to the breading, but I still followed the recipe and omg, we all loved it so. I cooked this with my 9 and 4 year old son and they had a ball. We will definitely be making this again soon. I agree with the person that said no more bland store bought nuggets.

My 8 yr old LOVES to help in the kitchen and recently tried these chicken toes for the first time by following the recipe in Rachael's Kids cookbook which turned out AWESOME! He was able to do almost everything himself and REALLY showed his personality with running commentary while making us a yummy chicken dinner (he also made a couple of other recipes in the cookbook to accompany it. We were surprised by the sweetness of the finished product but instantly fell in love w/ the flavor; no more bland, processed chicken nuggets.

My kids love making and eating this chicken. This is also a great dish to bring to any casual gathering- easy to make ahead of time and easy finger food for kids and adults. My picky kids even love the easy to make dipping sauce!
