We have Thanksgiving early due to travel plans. And while looking for ways to use leftovers, I found this recipe which I modified to suit what I had on hand. I topped toast with cornbread dressing. No self-respecting cook in my family would serve any other kind. Then added sliced turkey over the dressing. The only change I made to the gravy was reduce the amount to accommodate two adults and a child. It is a recipe I will use again. The gravy was especially tasty.

First, the sandwich is on toast, because it's a SANDWICH. Second, this recipe isn't someone's personal OPINION, its a re-creation of a diner classic. It's a nice comfort food dish that brings back fond memories. I also worked at HoJo's for years! Thanks Rachael!!!
