It is time consuming if you do it all in one day but it is very good. It is very easy to make also.

Love it! I have made it twice. It is time consuming, so to cut corners. I used my slow cooker! Just tossed in the herbs, veggies & boneless chicken breasts (3 in the morning with 4 cups of chicken stock. I set it to low for the day. I did add some minced garlic. When I got home, I used two forks to shred the chicken. I made the roux using a little of the stock from the slow cooker and mixed it back in. I topped with the drop biscuits and popped in to the oven. EASY. Love Rachel Ray!

After watching this episode I was looking forward to trying this recipe. It turned out awful. The best part was the drop biscuits w/ herbs. Everything else was not seasoned well enough, following the recipe directions. The sauce was too thin, even adding more flour to it. I made this as a make ahead meal and after 2 daysin the fridge the only flavors that it produced was kinda of like dirt in chicken gravy. Overall I feel like I wasted my time and alot of effort.

This had great flavor!! It was alot of work at the end, but we enjoyed this meal & the leftovers. The sauce was a little too thin - next time, I'll use more flour/butter.

I love this recipe! It was so yummy. It does does take a little time to cut all the veggies, but one short cut is to buy a pre-cooked chicken from your local deli. I also added a little extra flour and a little less chicken broth to the roux and that made the sauce turn out perfect. It is your perfect comfort food.

This was way more work than it's worth. The sauce was too thin, probably could have used one more tablespoon of flour to thicken it up. My veggies didn't get tender enough for me. I'd recommend combining the sauce with the veggies for a few minutes to finish cooking them. Or just skip this one all together and try Rachael's chicken and dumplings, much better!
