This was fantastic. I made one in the muffin tin and then I made another batch in custard cups, which made a better presentation. Use a good quality Panettone it makes all the difference. Everyone loved this and I will make again.

Wow. A great tasting, very simple to make dessert. This will be made every Christmas.

This is awesome! Team it with Giada's Warm Cinnamon Sauce and you've got heaven in a bowl! Instead of individual portions baked in a muffin tin, I made it in a pretty casserole dish with the Warm Cinnamon Sauce on the side for an extended family Christmas last year, and it was the only desert that "sold out"! Of course, it has been requested for this year's Christmas get-together, and I a eagerly obliging.

This was my first time making a Rachel Ray recipe, and let me tell you, it is a keeper. I used a 2.5 lb panettone and doubled the recipe. I also replaced the half & half with store-bought eggnog and skipped the booze entirely. The bread puddings were DELICIOUS and they looked so beautiful as individual servings -- you just have to be delicate when taking them out of the muffin tin because they're a little soft. I'd suggest dusting them with confectioner's sugar before serving.

Delicious. Still great if the bread dissolves in the liquid while soaking. Just more like authentic pudding.

Delish! Very tasty either hot or cold. I've been known to have it for dessert with dinner, then warm up some more for breakfast the next morning.

Haven't tried the recipe yet, so I gave it 3 stars until I find the panetonne here. When I do, I'd like to use soy eggnog as I have a dairy-allergic child who LOVES the Silk eggnog they sell at Christmas. Would I still use the same number of eggs and just substitute egg nog for the 1/2 and 1/2, or should I omit the eggs entirely? Thanks.

Sooo good! I had planned to make another bread pudding from this site- made Commander's Palace recipe many times in the past. This is better - both are good but this is so quick and easy. I used mini muffins. Our holiday open house for 25 really enjoyed these - I had the 2 left in the morning with coffee- delicious and addictive. Thank you Rachel - merry Christmas!
