We've never had jambalaya before so we didn't have anything to compare it to. Nevertheless, my family loved it. I can't seem to find andouille sausage here so I substituted with Italian sausage (I think it made it less soupy.

I made this recipe, but instead of cooking the rice seperate, I added the rice in with the mixture and baked in the oven until it was done. This is the best and easiest Jambalaya recipe I have ever made.
