This was a wonderful recipe, my husband thought it was great too. So quick and easy and I had almost everything already in the pantry and fridge! Loved it, will make it again for sure!!

This was one of the most delicious dishes that I have ever made. Very easy. I can't wait to make it again!

This one is a keeper. I can understand why people from Cajun Country don't think it's perfectly traditional, but it doesn't change the fact that this is DELICIOUS. I had some okra to use up so I added that and some garlic and I let it simmer for a while before I added the shrimp (just because we weren't ready for dinner but I'm sure it's great exactly as written too. Next time I might adapt it to a slow cooker as another reviewer suggested, but there is already so much flavor for the amount of time invested. MMM MMM good!

Excellet!!! I added some red peppers to the vegetable mix, it was really good and just the right amount of spiciness.

Seriously! This isn't jambalaya. It's a stew. No cajun flavors, no brown roux. Should have known better.

    WOW YUMMO!!!
I have tried a lot of jambalaya, gumbo, creole and different recipe. The result for the time invested in making this dish was outstanding.

Where's the garlic? I added 3 freshly grated cloves and 1 1/2 t. cajun seasoning and it was a super quick meal. It took me only the time it took for the rice to cook-20 minutes. I used frozen, peeled and deviened shrimp to make that happen quicky style. Family of 4 gives this a thumbs up.

I left out the chicken, but this recipe is easy and fabulous! It would be good with the chicken too, but I only need to cook for myself so I left out the chicken and cut the recipe back and it was wonderful
