I don't think it tasted like everything on bagel but it was a good fish burger. I agree that it was bland though and needed more spice.

I can't believe anyone could try this recipe and think that it had no flavor. This recipe has a unique and fabulous flavor. Every element of this burger compliments the other ingredients. I make sure to cook it the full amount of time recommended so the texture is just right for me. I make it regularly and enjoy every bite!

I follwed the salmon cakes recipe but used regular burger buns. This recipe is quick and simple I was eating once the first salmon burger was removed from the skillet. perfect and delicious!!!!

I just bought whole salmon for $1.99 per pound, so I've been able to experiment a little as I prep them for the freezer.

The clean up time of food processor, cutting board, and counter is definitely not included in the 30 minutes! Raw salmon bits did not clean off the food processor in my dishwasher - so had to be hand scrubbed.

The outside of the burger got hard instead of crisp, and the salmon flavor was lost.

I liked the sauce and added it along with liquid smoke to poached and flaked salmon - and put it on a real bagel. Not a burger - but just as easy to eat.

The flavor was great....the texture of the salmon....not so much. My family and I were really looking forward to these burgers but were sadly disappointed. The texture of the salmon after putting it in the food processor was not appealing to me. I would have liked it much better as a fillet but I guess you could not call it a burger then. Oh well, we will always be adventurous and try new things.

Instead of mixing the seeds with the salmon and then forming the patties, we encrust the formed burger with the seeds on the outside instead. That would be more like an Everything Bagel. Since the seeds inside don't really add much for flavor or texture anyway I'm gonna try that.

was there salmon in this dish? All of the ingredients together totally covered up the fabulous taste of the salmon alone. I guess that works if you are not a salmon lover...

With the numerous positive reviews of this recipe, I'm certain it is quite flavorful. Keeping that in mind, I must ask why anyone would take 4 beautiful salmon pieces that can easily be prepared in a broad variety of very tasty ways and decimate the meat to create burgers? This is akin to grinding up a filet mignon for hamburgers. It is difficult to understand.

This recipe is a no-brainer to make, and I'm not all that talented in the kitchen. The dill and grill seasoning are important to the salmon, and the sauce is not only easy to make but complements the burger beautifully. It's very light but filling. And my six-year-old liked it! He asked me to cook him one tomorrow and bring it to him at school for lunch so it would still be hot. And you know when a kid find something he likes to eat, go with it!

I made these burgers a few weeks ago and am making them again tonight. I used black sesame seeds and they were quite tasty (I think they have some kind if seasoning on them. I omitted dill because I didn't have any and added some chopped scallion instead and it just made the burger pop with flavor. Also, the sauce is really delish! I used the extra on salad (thinned it out with a little milk! My 2 year old gobbled up the mini sized burger I made him. Tonight I think I will make him the full sized one! Great idea for a zippy salmon burger, Rachel.. thanks
