I LOVE horseradish and am lucky enough to have parents who grow it. I am constantly looking for recipes that call for it. I use raw freshly ground for this dish and loved it! Thanks so much for such a wonderful show.

I made the horseradish sauce and it was wonderful plus extremely easy. I like how Alton suggest you make the beef tenderlion.

A fast and easy no-brainer of a recipe that everyone enjoyed. Kids thought the Horseradish sauce was "wierd" but you don't have to put the sauce on the steak. The hubby and I loved the sauce and put it on everything.

Tried it without the sauce because I didn't have any Madeira. It was the best steak I've ever had. I was reluctant to "fry" such a good piece of beef on the stove (usually I do it on the grill, but boy was it delicious!

This was the best steak my husband and I have ever had (restaurant or at home and we've had some mighty fine steaks. We didn't make the horseradish sauce, but the steak doesn't need it. Make the sauce at the end and you're good to go. Made them last night and I can't wait till tomorrow night to make them again! :-

The steak was AWESOME... A week later I am still thinking about it... The sauce was OK... I couldn't ruin my steak with it, so I added it to my roasted asparagus....
