    I made this tonight without the horseradish since my boyfriend and I aren't a fan of it. We bought some Madeira last week and was eager to cook with it, and this is why we chose to make these filets. It was a simple sauce but we really enjoyed it. And, OF COURSE, they are tender.. it's filet mignon! :o

    This recipe was fast, easy and delicious! My husband and I did without the horseradish sauce and it still tasted so good. He also told me I'm in charge of making steaks from now on.

    I however did not care for the sauce. I love horseradish and felt the sauce was not worth the effort. The plain meat was extremely yummy as is. :

    My wife and I made this meal for friends, and it was a smash! The steaks were tender and juicy. The horseradish sauce had a little kick to it, but was a great sauce for the steaks. Don't let A-1 anywhere near this recipe!

    Have always loved horseradish...now everyone in the family does too, thanks to Rachel. Mom saying it's good just doesn't cut it anymore, it's gotta come from Rachel...whoopie!!!!

    I made this one night and,I was disappointed because it did not taste good at all although other people seemed liked this receipes. My problem of this dish was sauce. This sauce was not good at all.

    You will not believe how good and tender these steaks are, so I won't even describe it. You have to try it yourself!!!
