Good, easy recipe. Leftovers on fish sandwiches later did not taste fishy, but well seasoned. Good job, Rachel.

I have not had a chance to try Rachel's fish fry yet, but it did inspire me to do my own, though without the flour. My personal recipe is done frying the fish in just olive oil and butter. I can't believe how easy and tasty this was. Very crispy and flavorful, not fishy at all. It was great alone or with tartar sauce. My kids asked for seconds and thirds!

I just made this entire meal (Fish Fry, Malt Vinegar Oven Fries and Cucumber Watercress Salad and it was a huge success. I'm not accomplished enough to have done it in 30 minutes, but it wasn't too much longer. The fish was great and the oven fries were one of my favorites. I switched out the dill in the salad for taragon, and it was also a success. Highly reocmmend.

What a great, simple method for a fish fry. My husband is a big fisherman, and I always feel a little pressure to cook his fish right!! This time I used catfish filets, and it just rocked! Another tip....if you have time, put the coated fish in the freezer for 20 minutes before putting them in the oil. Enjoy this one!!

I am not a huge Rachel Ray devotee by any stretch, but my husband and I are snowed in tonight and the fridge was looking bare. I had frozen orange roughy filets, flour, bred crumbs, eggs and seasoning so gave it a try. Delicious! Not greasy at all! Crunchy too! I did three batches of frying and put the finished pieces on a paper bag lined cookie shoot in the oven. When all were done I broiled for 3 minutes - fantastic! Made a quick tartar sauce of sour cream, lemon juice, onion powder, chopped hamburger pickle and a little pickle juice. Yum, yum, yum. :

I've tried on my own, but this recipe is the one that gets my kids asking for more! I have three kids (2, 7, 10 and they all love this! Easy and great flavor. I do recommend the cod, because it seems to stay moist!
