The rating on this recipe says its easy; I beg to differ. As an advanced cook, I have never found a recipe that was too difficult. And while this one was not an expert, it was not for the beginner cook. The cooking part and butterfly-ing parts were easy, but getting the meat rolled up to where it would stay together was quite a task. Once the pinwheel was made, the food was absolutly wonderful and had a nice flavor. But getting the meat to stay in place and not spill all of its filling was hard. I would highly recomend this recipe though. The meat was flavorful and the cheeses and spinach were a great compliment.

I made this recipe using chicken instead of beef since I've not been successful with beef recipes like this. I used a large chicken breast and cooked it in one piece instead of cutting into pinwheels prior to cooking. I find chicken much harder to cut into rolls than beef prior to cooking. I used a little butter in the pan which added a nice flavor to the meat. It turned out absolutely amazing, I can't wait to make it again! Another great recipe from Rachel Ray!

I have always seen these pinwheels made at the store and they were always so expensive. So after seeing Rachel make them I had to try it. WOW!! They were so impressive looking and they were delicious. The cheese made it!! They came out perfect. I used an indoor grill just in case of leakage but they stay together wonderfully. My family just loved them. Again, great recipe Rachel

This recipe was easy to make and very tasty. It turned an ordinary cut of steak into something delicious. Next time I'm going to take Rachael's suggestion and have my butcher butterfly the steak for me. I'm definitely going to make this again. My husband enjoyed it as well.

This was super easy to make and the presentation makes it look like you worked all day. I really dont care for blue cheese, but this steak is great.

This recipe is FABULOUS! My husband doesn't cook ever, but he will make this anytime..It's wonderful and easy enough for a man that usually makes breakfast and soup only!

    Thanks,
    Whitney

These had great flavor-- they were a little hard to manage because the stuff kind of fell out into the grill but I probably just need to wrap them tighter and not overstuff them. I replaced the asiago with gruyere and it was great!
