I love these! I did use some thyme and basil also. And I substituted sour cream for the milk and gluten free bread crumbs for bread. Also used fresh spinach. They are Killer! Not sure of the sauce for them yet, in the freezer for a later date. Thanks Rachel, Karen Redelin, Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin

I was looking for another way to use ground turkey and saw Rachel's recipe for Florentine Meatballs. The only change I made was that I used fresh spinach that I had on hand instead of frozen. The meatballs were moist and delicious and the cheese sauce was perfect. Thank you Rachel for another winner!

This recipe is fabulous! It's easy to prepare and with the cheese sauce it's unlike anything you can find in a restaurant. The meatballs are delicious alone, or in a red gravy, but the cheese sauce is so rich and tasty, no pasta required.

Love, love, love these meatballs! I am not really a turkey fan, but this recipe is a regular in our rotation. I make a couple of tweaks - oats instead of breadcrumbs, and cream instead of milk in the meatballs themselves. I also double the Parma she calls for in the meatballs. I love the cheese sauce but hubby does not, so I often skip the sauce. Hubby puts hot sauce with marinara on his servings, which he loves, and I put some extra Parmesan on top of mine and love them that way. An easy way to trim some calories from the dish if you desire, without losing the cheesy element. Try these, you wont be sorry!

I really like this recipe. It was easy to follow and got my daughter to WANT spinach. She actually asks for these meatballs specifically! The sauce is yummy but I do think they would go well with other sauces too. I made a homemade pasta in a roasted garlic olive oil. It was a great dinner, not a crumb left!

My family loves these! They don't need the heavy sauce - I make them smaller and add them to tomato sauce - awesome and super healthy.

These meatballs were moist, flavorful and easy to make! Didn't take too long either. My husband doesn't prefer meatballs on their own, but devoured these! I did season the turkey with a little garlic powdr and italian seasoning in addition to kosher salt and pepper. Also used Italian breadcrumbs, and grated Romano cheese for an extra bite. Served with a homemade meat sauce from a different recipe alongside broccoli and mashed potatoes. Will definitely make again!

I've made these a few times and they are always a hit! Even the pickiest of eaters love these! I've found that using half of the onion is best. Also, I usually add a little extra milk to make the sauce less rich. Those are just suggestions as the recipe as written is easy and delicious!

These were easy to make and turned out tasty. The sauce was a little too heavy for me but it was yummy nonetheless.
