As Rachel would say "Yummo"! This salad dressing is a sweet one..but the combination of flavors is a hit. I use red wine vinegar in mine. Thanks Rachel!

Loved this dressing! When I moved to Africa, I realized that you couldn't find bottled salad dressings--or on the extremely rare occasion that you did, they cost A LOT more than in the US. Even had a friend that didn't like French dressing try it, and she liked it! Will definitely make again.

This is an excellent salad dressing although I made a minor change by reducing the 1/3 cup of sugar to 1/4 cup. It's very reminiscent of the '50's and '60's ... am sure you'll like it so give it a try!

I LOVE this salad and really LOVE the dressing. I make it exactly as written, but I usually go a bit easy on the radish and the oil. My 3 year old loves it too. I would say my husband would probably prefer a different salad though. I don't think he loves sweet dressings. Too bad for him. :

This is such a sweet tangy YUMMY dressing. I absolutely LOVE onion so I substituted my fav--red onion. Everyone loves this one & it's alreday in my book.

This was delicious. I cut the oil in half, and still thought it wasn't really necessary because the ketchup bound it together. I also cut the sugar just a bit. I did like it anyway, and will be making it again, though I'll try cutting the oil to make it healthier.

Come on you guys this is Racheal Ray, not gourmet {no offense}. I love this dressing, it is close to what my great aunt used to make for resorts in the Adirondacks, try it with some crumbly blue cheese and a little celery seed. I do agree about cutting back on the oil - other than that it's great.

PS If you know you only like oil & vinegar why would you try this recipe?
