I will say this, it is healthier, more tasty and makes the house smell amazing! It is fun to make but even more fun to recieve the compliments of everyone at the party who just had to have the recipe!

I made this for a few friends who came over. It was a lot of work and the results were not that good, in fact, hardly anyone touched much of it. They asked me what onion mix I used and I said I had made it from scratch. They asked me next time just to use onion soup to make the dip and relax! The chips got eaten but the dip was thrown out!

This was just simply too much work for something that doesn't taste as good as the mixes!

this just lacked something and I couldn't believe after the work to make it, not one person liked it. I wish I had made the old onion soup mix and sour cream dip that is always a hit. I don't recommend trying this at all.

I watched the shop when this recipe was made. It was touted as the replacement for the soup and sour cream dip mix. I personally love the soup and sour cream dip so I decided to give this a try. I prepared the dip as the recipe stated and remembered tips from the show. What I came up with was a very very mild dip to stiff to put a heavy dipping potato chip through. I did not try it on veggies. I wound up putting dehydrated onions and lots of extra salt to get it to the soup mix dip flavor. Sooooooo, if you like the soup mix dip, I say stick with it. This is no replacement and a lot more work.

Everyone at my super bowl party hated this dip. I think it just had too many things in it and definitely was not worth the trouble. Thank goodness we had a couple of other dips.

this was very easy to make and I thought the tastes was good. Not great but good. I felt better eating this that the store bought

Easy to prepare, Great taste, was a hit at our party
