Quick and easy, and very delicious. According to my bro-in-law the last time I made it, it's the best garlic bread he's ever had.

This recipe is excellent and SUPER simple. If you don't have fresh garlic, you can use the chopped garlic that comes in the jar.

Delicious and so easy. I like to add a little pesto sauce on mine before spreading on the butter mixture.

I liked it and even though I had tried to remember to add a couple extra cloves of garlic I forgot, so again the flavor wasn't strong but it still tasted good. I also turned off the oven when it was done but forgot to take it out right away so it was crustier than expected but still good.

This is great! Very much like I used to make it years ago, although I used to put the butter, oil, & garlic on before toasting -- this way is better!

As for the comment that the garlic flavor wasn't strong enough, make sure you're using fresh, unsprouted garlic -- i.e., no green stems -- AND try adding a pinch of salt to the oil and butter -- about 1/8 teaspoon -- especially if you're using unsalted butter.

Lastly, I didn't have any fresh parsley on hand -- didn't miss it at all, recipe is great without it. In fact, aside from looks, I don't see how it would add much to the recipe.

me and my friend loved it! Much better than other recipes. We had no parsly so we used rosemary and it tasted just as good. Also we had minced garlic instead of fresh but it still was good. Thanks

This recipe was SOOO delicious! A new favorite! I used minced garlic in a jar instead of fresh. Still had an amazing garlic flavor versus fresh garlic!
